Friday night on IMPACT wrestling, former Detroit Red Wing and Stanley Cup Champion Darren McCarty got roughed up by former ECW talent Bully Ray. The altercation led to the Red Wing Great being powerbombed through a table. Darren McCarty has interjected himself into the professional wrestling world as of late, especially in the Detroit market.

McCarty and Bully Ray went toe to toe in the middle of the ring, trading punches when Ray's partners, The Good Hands came out from behind and attacked McCarty from behind, which led to McCarty getting triple powerbombed through the table...

McCarty was avenged, as Scott D'Amore came out to make the save. Jason Hotch, a recent stand-out from Ohio tried sneaking up from behind and attack D'Amore, but was countered and D'Amore ended up blasting Hotch with a devastating Canadian Destroyer, to the delight of many IMPACT fans:

Bully Ray chose the wrong Canadian person to mess with. Don't cross with the boss especially the New President of IMPACT Wrestling Mr Scott D'Amore.

This isn't the first time a well known Detroit figure, or figures have been involved with IMPACT, formerly TNA:

At the end … This makes me think of the very first TNA house show in 2006 I was at … Team Canada Vs ICP & I really wanted to see Petey Williams hit the Canadian destroyer, but Scott ended up doing it lol I was so mad!!

Something tells me McCarty will be back to get revenge against Bully Ray and his goons, so we'll keep an eye on the situation.
