While that may not surprise Michigan residents, what may take you back is that our state had nearly the highest number of counties in the top 100, second only to Alaska, which had a staggering 18 on the list. However, neither Michigan or Alaska is home to the USA's snowiest county.
What it Takes to Be One of America's "Snowiest" Counties
First, and most obviously, you need to have a significant amount of snow to be considered one of Lawn Love's "Snowiest" counties in the USA. That's a big "Check" for Michigan, we've got enough to spare.
Next, Lawn Love considered the area's overall climate. How cold does it get? How often does it snow? Finally, and for Michiganders, most importantly, how prepared is the county to deal with the inevitable dumping of snow?
