
Say What? Alligator Found Under Vehicle In Sterling Heights
A woman in Sterling Heights, Michigan found an alligator under her vehicle. Yes, you read that right.
Marysoul Mousahurawi told FOX 2 Detroit that the alligator was spotted by neighbors, who then alerted her of the situation. Can you imagine?

Authorities believe the alligator was a pet and either snuck out somehow or was dumped on Ryan Road near 59. The Sterling Heights Police Department is reminding residents that having an alligator or exotic animal within city limits is illegal - it is also a misdemeanor.
I am guessing the chances of the owner speaking up are slim and none.
Is it legal to own an alligator in the state of Michigan?
There are no laws in Michigan against owning or selling alligators.. However, according to FOX 2 Detroit, it is up to individual Michigan cities to create alligator bans.
What happened to the Sterling Heights alligator?
With help from Sterling Heights police officers, an employee from the Reptarium Zoo employee in Utica was able to wrangle the alligator from underneath the vehicle.
The alligator was then taken to the Reptarium Zoo for care.
