I’m not sure how often people really use Yelp to decide where they’re going to eat. Honestly, it’s never really been part of my routine. If I’m craving tacos, pizza, burgers, or a steak, I usually already know where I’m going.

However, I know a lot of people DO use it, because Yelp and Google reviews can seriously make or break a restaurant these days.

So I started digging around to see which spots across Genesee County are getting the most love from locals and visitors. Some of the names weren’t surprising at all, while others definitely caught me off guard…especially a few places I go to all the time that somehow didn’t even make the list.
