Popular Restaurant Abruptly Closes—Only One Left in Michigan
Things aren't looking good for a once-popular restaurant chain in Michigan, which at one point had at least seven locations in the state. For whatever reason, the chain is disappearing fast.
Over the past year, this restaurant chain has been shutting down spots all over Michigan. Corktown closed back in March, Wyandotte shut its doors in January, Ypsilanti went dark last October, Clinton Township closed in August, and Grand Rapids called it quits in December.
Now, there is only one location left in Michigan.
What Michigan Restaurant Suddenly Closed Its Doors?
Well, it’s official. Bobcat Bonnie’s has pulled the plug on yet another location. This time, it’s the Ferndale restaurant saying goodbye. In a surprise social media post dropped on Sunday evening, the once popular spot announced its last day of service would be today (Monday), June 2.

The restaurant announced it would stay open until 10 p.m. tonight, or until they run out of food, whichever comes first.
As of 3 p.m. today, while writing this, they posted on Facebook that they were officially sold out of food. Well, that was fast.
All right friends we are officially sold out of food, so we will have cheap drinks for the rest of the night. Come and get a five-dollar anything.
They are moving fast with this closure. Starting Tuesday, the Ferndale location will be selling tables, chairs, glassware, and more.
If you’re a fan of Bobcat Bonnie’s, you’ll be glad to know there’s still one location left in Lansing. But with how quickly they’ve been shutting things down, it feels like it’s only a matter of time.
