Grand Blanc, are you ready for Chicken Shack to finally open?

In February, we told you that Chicken Shack was coming to Grand Blanc, and residents went nuts with excitement. Most of the buzz came from those who had already tried Chicken Shack at one of its many metro Detroit locations. Other residents were just happy to have a new restaurant chain come to town.

Chicken Shack posted a message on Facebook this week letting customers know how excited they are that their 24th location is getting ready to open soon.

Exciting news! We're thrilled to announce the opening of our 24th location next month in Grand Blanc at 11355 S. Saginaw Street! Stay tuned for the exact opening date. If you or anyone you know is interested in joining the newest Shack crew, send us a message!

Chicken Shack is famous for its chicken, especially fried chicken. They serve things like chicken pieces, wings, and tenders. They also have seafood and ribs, plus sides like fries, onion rings, coleslaw, and salads.

Where is Chicken Shack Located in Grand Blanc?

The new restaurant is located in the former Yaya's building on Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc. Yaya's moved to the former Troy's Cleaners building just down the road.

People on social media really talk up Chicken Shack; hopefully, it's as good as everyone claims.

Chicken Shack originated in Royal Oak when John and Iola Sobeck opened the first branch in 1956.
