Coyote Takes Leisurely Stroll In Michigan – Check Out The Pics
Well, this isn't something you see every day - or is it?
As it turns out, coyotes are quite common in Michigan, and according to Coyote Facts, they are becoming more common in suburban and urban areas. Apparently, this is due to the development of their natural habit.
Proof of this is in the photos you will see below. Rachel Arabucki was able to capture a few pictures of a coyote taking a stroll on Main Street in Clarkston, Michigan. The coyote was spotted right outside of Brioni Cafe & Deli. Maybe this coyote is a fan of the Pine Knob Turkey Reuben too? Or maybe this particular coyote was looking for a partner? Coyote breeding season in Michigan starts in January and ends in March.
It is recommended that you never approach a coyote, or attempt to feed one. That being said, according to The Humane Society of the United States, coyote attacks on humans are rare. As matter of fact, The Humane Society of the United States also states that more people are killed by errant golf balls and flying champagne corks each year than are bitten by coyotes. Good to know.
Thank you Rachel Arabucki for sharing your photos with us.
Is anyone else craving a sandwich from Brioni Cafe & Deli now too?
