Detroit Lions Player Spends Over $100K At Michigan Restaurant
Money may not buy happiness, but money can buy an expensive Detroit Lions rookie dinner at a steak restaurant in Michigan.
The 'rookie dinner' is a tradition in the NFL. Every year a rookie player will pay for dinner for his position group, or in some cases the entire team. As you can imagine the dinners are expensive, but now we can see firsthand exactly how expensive these meals can be.
Detroit Lions rookie Terrion Arnold recently posted a receipt for a dinner he paid for at Sexy Steak in Detroit on January 8th, 2025. There were 20 players in attendance, with a charge of $4000 per meal, which is a total of $80,000.
But wait, we can't forget about the tip. At Sexy Steak (and most other restaurants), there is a large party service fee of 22 percent, which is an additional $17,600.
That brings the total to $97,600. Wait, what about tax? Thank you. The tax on this dinner tab was $4800, bringing the total to $102,400. Can you even imagine?

If you could not catch the receipt fast enough, here it is.
The Detroit Lions cornerback can afford it, according to Salary Sports, Terrion Arnold made $8 million.
If Terrion Arnold is reading this, I am free for dinner anytime.
Here's to a great 2025-2026 season for the Detroit Lions!
