Michigan Strip Bar Shut Down After Minors Found Partying Inside

A strip club in Detroit, Michigan, has been shut down after minors were found partying inside.

The incident occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025, with some partygoers as young as 14. Thanks to the swift actions of an aunt of a few of the teens inside, the club has since been shut down.

I remember going to field parties as a teenager, but I never imagined getting into a club at that age.

According to WXYZ, the aunt tracked her niece and nephews to the location and went to get them. From all accounts, the club employees were not helpful when it came to getting the minors out of the establishment. That is when police were called.

Here’s the kicker: the strip club in question is called Legendary Sting, located at 6609 Michigan Avenue in Detroit. The gentlemen's club is often referred to as 'The Sting'.

How appropriate.

When I Googled Legendary Sting, a 'temporarily closed' message appeared, and its Facebook page is no longer active.

Since the underage party at Legendary Sting was brought to light, the Detroit Police obtained a search warrant. According to Click On Detroit, video evidence related to the case was seized.

As far as Legendary Sting reopening, that remains to be seen at this time.

Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettis issued a stern warning to those involved in situations like the one at Legendary Sting,

If you’re going to have partie,s and entice our children into establishments and venues that are meant for adults, we will use every aspect of city government, the law department, the Wayne County prosecutor, etc., to shut you down.
