Fenton Kroger Hiring Event This Weekend

Looking for a job? The Fenton Kroger is hiring and hosting a hiring event this weekend.

The store is not yet open, so the hiring event will happen at the  Fairfield Inn at 3125 West Silver Lake Road in Fenton, 48430.

When is the Kroger hiring event?

Dates and times are as follows,

• Friday, November 14th, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday, November 15th, 2025, from Noon to 4:00 PM
• Sunday, November 16th, 2025, from Noon to 4:00 PM

From what I understand, Kroger is hiring for all clerk roles.

When is the new Kroger store in Fenton opening?

No exact date has been announced, but it appears the store will be opening within the next couple of weeks. Once a grand opening date is announced, we will pass along the information.

If you do indeed get hired at Kroger, you will likely find out the opening date before the rest of us (lucky).

As a Fenton resident, I know the community is highly anticipating the opening of our new Kroger store. Since the announcement about a year ago, social media has been buzzing with excitement over what will soon be Genesee County’s newest Kroger location.

It’s not as though Fenton is lacking grocery store options, but people naturally enjoy something new - or in this case, someplace new. There is certainly nothing wrong with having more choices when it comes to where we shop.
