New Genesee County Restaurant – Social House Grand Opening Date

Genesee County residents are gearing up for the grand opening of a new Flint restaurant.

Like many of you, I’ve been eagerly awaiting details and checking social media for updates on the official opening day of the eatery - and now, that date has finally been announced.

Social House on Fenton Road will officially open on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. However, you might have a chance to visit the location before the grand opening

Social House has announced on Facebook that details about the soft opening are being planned. The information on the grand opening event page states the following,

Before our grand opening, we’ll be hosting several soft opening events, giving you a first taste of what’s to come. Stay tuned—dates and details will be shared very soon!

What type of restaurant is Social House in Flint?

Social House is a casual fine dining restaurant serving deliciously crafted dishes, including gluten-free options, alongside local craft beers and signature cocktails.

The space is also available for private events.

Social House is at 5516 Fenton Road in Flint, in the same plaza as the Secretary of State.

Smash House Gourmet is located right next door to Social House. Smash House Gourmet is takeout only, featuring smash burgers, flatbread pizza options (served on a cauliflower crust), lobster grilled cheese, hot dogs, short rib grilled cheese, chicken tenders, sides, and more.
