A TikTok video by 20-year-old Michigan creator Hanna Martinez has caught a lot of attention, racking up over 250,000 views. In her video, she warns women—especially those in Macomb County—about troubling allegations against an OBGYN. After sharing her own traumatic experience at Henry Ford Macomb County Labor and Delivery, 30 more women reached out to her with similar stories, raising serious concerns about patient safety and consent.

What Happened

Hanna claims that the OBGYN Dr. Laurie Stanczak committed medical battery by touching her without consent multiple times during her appointment. Even after Hanna withdrew her consent, she alleges that the doctor refused to remove her hands. These serious allegations have led Hanna to file a complaint with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), emphasizing the urgent need for accountability.
