Exciting Flavors Await At Lapeer’s New Mexico Lindo Restaurant

Lapeer County’s newest Mexican restaurant is about to open. I always get excited to see new businesses open, especially when tacos are involved.

Mexico Lindo will offer a wide variety of taco options along with nachos, fajitas, combination dinners, burritos, salads, quesadillas, and much more.

Guests can also enjoy a selection of steak, chicken, pork, beef, and vegetarian meals.

Currently, alcohol is not being served, but Mexico Lindo is working on obtaining a liquor license.

When does Mexico Lindo in Lapeer open?

Mexico Lindo will officially open for business on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025.

The new location can be found at 509 South Main Street, conveniently situated near Little Caesar's. You might recall it as the former home of Teriyaki Madness.

Hours at Mexico Lindo in Lapeer are as follows,

• Monday: 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Tuesday: 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Thursday: 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Friday: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM

It appears there's a Mexico Lindo located in Waterford, but it is not affiliated with the Mexico Lindo in Lapeer.

I’m looking forward to trying out this new spot, the toughest part will be choosing what to order. As you’ll see on the menu below, Mexico Lindo offers a wide variety of dishes.

Is it cool to order one of everything? Maybe I will just start at the appetizers and make my way eventually through the entire Mexico Lindo menu.
