Could Michigan Be the Next Home for a Swingers-Only Trailer Park?

It already (maybe) happened in Louisiana, but could this be a worthy venture for a bold Michigan business?

Tee Boi’s Swinger Trailer Park in Mamou, Louisiana, and attracted a lot of attention. With the motto “Bring your house and share your spouse,” this venue made waves in southern Louisiana.

The grand opening for Tee Boi’s Swinger Trailer Park was set for Memorial Weekend 2022. However, after further research, it's hard to tell if it ever came to fruition.

David Aucoin, the founder of Tee Boi’s Swinger Trailer Park, opened the park for couples interested in swinging, and he notes that the swinger community is surprisingly larger than many might think.

It’s bigger than most will know.... Live free and don’t be scared of it. There’s a big community of it. I think a bunch of them aren’t shy. The ones that are shy, hell with them. Roll with it. It’s a good thing compared to most things.

he said in an interview with KLFY.

Since putting up the sign for the swinger park, Aucoin has been flooded with inquiries from swingers across the nation.

We have got some from Pennsylvania, we have got some from Arkansas, of course all around Acadiana, all around Mamou, Ville Platte, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Slidell. We have text messages from all over the country. It’s mind-boggling

he said.

For critics, Aucoin had a straightforward message:

Sucks to be them. There’s no reason to get mad at anybody for their preference. They’re not out here hurting nobody. Nobody is selling drugs here. People just want to have a good time, enjoy themselves the way they want to. That’s perfectly what it is.

Now, all that's left of the park is a Facebook page that still reads "coming soon," and broken links for buying the trailer park's tshirts.

Luckily, an equally awesome-sounding sports bar in the area, Bourbon and Buttcheeks has hung up a framed photo of the iconic park that never was.

Maybe Michigan can be the state to make it happen.
