This is just another reminder that no matter how fired up you get behind the wheel, getting out of your car to confront someone is never the move. Ever.

In Jackson County, two Michigan men were literally throwing punches in the middle of the road when a pickup truck came through and hit them both.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, the chaos started around 6 p.m. Friday near M-60 and North Main Street in Concord Township.

A 22-year-old from Concord was driving a Chevy Malibu, and a 24-year-old from Parma was driving a Jeep Cherokee. Whatever happened between them on the road must’ve pushed some serious buttons, because they pulled over, got out, and started swinging right there in traffic. Crazy, right?

While these two were throwing down in the road, a 62-year-old Hanover man driving a Dodge Ram 1500 came through the area and hit both of them. He couldn’t stop in time and plowed into both of them.

They both were taken to the hospital, but the 22-year-old didn’t survive. The other man walked away with non-life-threatening injuries. The pickup driver wasn’t hurt, and MSP says no one involved appeared to be intoxicated.

I don’t care what set you off, no road rage moment is ever worth your life.
