Michigan is about to get a new restaurant with a rather disturbing theme. Some people are going to be uncomfortable with it. Others are going to be weirdly fascinated.

What Is The Last Meal Restaurant?

The restaurant is called The Last Meal, and the concept is unique and wildly dark. According to MLive, every single item on the menu is based on the actual last meal requests of some of the most infamous serial killers in American history. Yes, actual last meals.

While the whole concept is a bit disturbing, you have to admit it’s definitely something different.

The idea comes from Nate Thompson, who already runs a Last Meal restaurant in Ohio. That location claims to be the only restaurant in the world where you can eat your meal and then hold a real human skull.

He also owns the Michigan Museum of Horror, which we covered back in 2022 before it opened in Monroe.

What’s On the Menu at The Last Meal Restaurant?

This isn’t a novelty menu with weird names slapped on frozen food. We’re talking full meals. Things like the John Wayne Gacy meal, which includes chicken wings, fried shrimp, fries, and strawberries. Or the Ted Bundy meal, featuring a Parmesan steak with loaded steak fries. As of right now, it’s unclear which other killers will be featured on the Michigan menu.

It’s real food, cooked like a normal restaurant. The theme is just…dark and heavy.

Where Is The Last Meal Opening in Michigan?

The Last Meal is set to open at The Mall of Monroe this spring, just minutes away from the Museum of Horror. Thompson says the goal is an April opening, which would officially make this Michigan’s first true crime restaurant.
