A Michigan man is facing charges after allegedly luring a 14-year-old girl to his home and assaulting her.

Charlie Willis, 22, of Oakland County, is accused of contacting the teen via Snapchat and paying for an Uber to bring the girl from Barry County to his home in Northville Township on Friday, April 25th, 2025.

It appears this is not his first brush with the law either. According to Click On Detroit, Willis was arrested in Roseville, Michigan, for felony sexual assault involving a minor roughly five months ago.

Reports indicate that in the most recent incident, Willis kept the 14-year-old victim in his basement. It’s unclear whether she managed to escape on her own or was released by Willis, but she was later found walking near 7 Mile and Sheldon Roads, wrapped in a blanket.

Charlie Willis is facing several charges, including child sexual abuse, kidnapping, and enticing a girl under the age of 16 for immoral purposes. He is currently being held at the Wayne County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court today, Monday, May 5, 2025, in connection with his alleged crime in Roseville.

Willis is set to appear before a judge on Friday, May 9, 2025, regarding the latest incident in Northville.
