Rumor has it, both around town and online, that Oliver T’s Market in Grand Blanc has been sold. The real estate listing (as of today) notes that the sale is pending.

It was confirmed in August 2025 that the popular Genesee County on Hill Road was on the market for $1,699,850.

A recent post on the Grand Blanc Residents Uncensored Facebook page claims that the store will be closing within the next couple of weeks and is expected to remain closed for approximately five to six months to undergo renovations.

The big question now is whether the property will continue operating as Oliver T's Market under new ownership, or if it will reopen under a completely different name and business.

Several loyal customers were quick to express their disappointment online, noting how unfortunate it would be if Oliver T’s were closed during the busy holiday season. For many, the store has long been a favorite destination for unique gifts, specialty items, and gourmet foods, particularly during the holidays, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We will keep you informed and share additional details as they become public.

Until any further announcements, Oliver T's remains open for business. Store hours are as follows,

  • Monday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

The official Oliver T's Facebook page has already listed discounted items, including giftware, beer, and wine.

We wish everyone involved the best, especially any employees who may be facing the tough task of finding new jobs.
