Rumor has it that downtown Flint may be getting a pedal pub.

If you are unfamiliar, More often than not each pedal pub can accommodate 12 to 16 guests. Passengers pedal the pub through a designated area, stopping at area bars and drinking along the way.

Rumor has it that there is a possibility that the downtown Flint area may soon be home to a pedal pub. According to Flint Beat, current ordinances involving alcohol consumption would have to be changed to allow for the pedal pub to operate.

As I said, this idea is in its early stages, and not all Flint City Council members are completely on board. There is concern over proper taxes being paid to the city of Flint by all parties involved.

Clearly, there is a lot involved with this project, but I am glad it is being at least talked about.

What do you think about this idea? There are quite a few downtown Flint bars and restaurants that would surely benefit from a pedal pub. Anything that gets people to experience what Flint has to offer, I am all for it.

As more information is made known about the pedal pub, I will be sure to update this article. In the meantime, let me know what your thoughts are about a pedal pub in downtown Flint.
