Michigan is full of charming small towns, but only one has earned the title of the richest small town in the Great Lakes State.

Realtor, a popular real estate website, recently published a list of the wealthiest small towns across the United States, and the small town that claims the title of the richest in Michigan might not come as a huge surprise to many.

Known for its affluence and picturesque neighborhoods, this town has long been associated with luxury living and a high standard of living.

What is the richest small town in Michigan?

Bloomfield Hills was named the richest small town in Michigan.

According to Realtor, the population in Bloomfield is only 4,412. Is anyone else surprised by that?

The median household income is $200,318.

Bloomfield Hills is not only home to some stunning residences, but it also offers nearby attractions such as the Rouge River Preserve, the Cranbrook Educational Community, and the Franklin Cider Mill.

Residents and visitors alike also appreciate the area’s distinctive dining and shopping experiences.

As a life-long Michigan resident, I am sure I have been to Bloomfield Hills at one point in my life, even if just passing through.

In preparation for this article, I did find some restaurants that I would like to visit in Bloomfield Hills, including the following,

  • Bill's
  • The Moose Preserve Bar & Grill
  • Beau's Grillery
  • Eddie Merlot's

If you have any suggestions, feel free to pass them on.
