Flint Metal Band Set to Open for Internationally Touring Artist
Prepare for a night of high-octane energy and genre-defying metal as Approaching Autumn, Flint’s own fast-rising heavy metal act, shares the stage with international powerhouse Bloodywood on July 1st at the iconic Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
If you haven’t yet come across Bloodywood, chances are you haven’t been spending much time on TikTok lately. Hailing from New Delhi Bloodywood is a trailblazing heavy metal band that has been rapidly gaining global recognition since its formation in 2016. With nearly one million monthly listeners on Spotify and a legion of dedicated fans worldwide, the band is currently experiencing a meteoric rise.
Who Is Bloodywood?
Originally known for their viral metal covers of mainstream pop songs—posted to YouTube as part of their beginnings as a parody band—Bloodywood soon transitioned into crafting their own original material. Their fusion of traditional Indian musical elements with aggressive metal instrumentation has set them apart as innovators in the global metal scene. In fact, they’ve made history as India’s first metal act to chart on Billboard.

Bloodywood is currently on their first U.S. tour, performing alongside renowned acts Baby Metal and Black Veil Brides through the end of July. Following their American run, they’ll continue to bring their explosive live show to audiences across Europe and the UK this fall, touring with Halestorm throughout October and November.
