10th Annual Flint Water Fest/Holiday Celebration This Weekend

If you're looking for free family fun this weekend, consider joining the party in Downtown Flint this Friday night (7/4/2025), complete with live music and of course, fireworks!

When is the 4th of July Celebration in Downtown Flint?

It's all happening at the 10th Annual Holiday Celebration/Flint Water Fest this Friday from 7 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on the Flat Lot in Downtown Flint.

A live DJ will kickoff the event which also features food trucks, a carnival midway, and activities for the kids including Soak City. And no celebration on July 4th would be complete without fireworks!

Live music includes local musicians Alina Oliver, Cainaen McGee, BFF, Nosey Parker, and Hustlers on the Move. After that, Uptown Funk: A Bruno Mars Tribute will take the stage.

Curfew Enforced During 4th of July Celebration

The Flint Institute of Music is reminding both parents and kids about the curfew that will be in place during the festival. According to the FIM.org website: 'No minor under the age of 17 years shall loiter, idle, congregate or be in or on any public street, highway, alley, park or public place between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m., immediately following, except where the minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian or some adult over the age of 21 years, delegated by the parent or guardian to accompany the minor child or where the minor is upon an errand or other legitimate business directed by his parent or guardian.'
