Here’s something Flint police are trying to get answers on right now, and they’re really hoping someone out there saw something.

Deadly Hit-and-Run Reported on Flint’s West Side

They’re investigating a deadly hit-and-run that happened early Sunday morning on the city’s west side. This was just after 4 a.m. along South Ballenger Highway near Sunset Drive. From what police are saying, a person was hit by a vehicle, and the driver just kept going.

Mid-Michigan Now says that right now, there’s not a lot to go on in terms of the vehicle itself. No make, no model, and they’re not even sure if more than one vehicle may have been involved. What they do believe, though, is that the vehicle should have pretty noticeable damage, especially to the front end and possibly underneath.

So if you were in that area around that time, or you’ve seen a vehicle recently that looks like it shouldn’t be on the road, police definitely want to hear from you.

Separate Flint Stabbing Still Under Investigation

And actually, earlier this week we told you about another situation Flint police are still working on, and they’re asking for help there too.

That one happened inside the Save A Lot on Flushing Road near Ballenger. Police say a verbal argument inside the store escalated fast and turned into a stabbing. A 37-year-old man was seriously hurt and is still in critical condition.

The suspect in that case also took off and hasn’t been found yet. So in both of these situations, if you know anything, police are asking you to come forward by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL (5245).
