Does Activity at Grand Blanc’s Old Perfect Cleaners Mean Something New?
Driving through Downtown Grand Blanc you can't help to notice the old Perfect Cleaners dry cleaning building getting more and more dilapidated.
Recently, it looked like clean up activity is in progress.
Is something new going in at the old Perfect Cleaners in Grand Blanc?
The scuttlebutt on Grand Blanc social media pages noticed the cleanup activity, too. Of course, one of the first comments of concern was there would be "another drug house/marijuana dispensary." That won't happen because Grand Blanc doesn't allow those. (I spoke briefly with City Manager for Grand Blanc, Wendy Jean-Buhrer last October to confirm the city's stance on cannabis.)
So, what will it be? According to the same Facebook Group, the owner is simply getting it ready to be sold. Considering it used to be a dry-cleaning business, they likely have some chemical clean-up work to do, too.
The business closed almost six years ago. You can see the state of the sign in the above left picture -- certainly worthy of a few jokes shared around the neighborhood.

Would Chipotle want the old Perfect Cleaners space in Downtown Grand Blanc?
That corner wouldn't be bad, IMO. If memory serves, Jimmy John's leases that parking lot for their drivers. Depending on the length of that lease and any possible dry cleaning chemical cleanup work, it might not be attractive to them.
