I have tried, but apparently, Starbucks just hasn't chosen to listen. As we sit here still feeling the heat of summer, "Bucks" is feeling all fall and stuff.

Pumpkin Spice lovers are already drooling in anticipation of the return of their favorite drink of the season. For 20 years since it was first introduced the famous PSL drink is virtually hit a cult following level of adornment. I myself can't stand anything pumpkin, but completely understand those who just can't wait for their tastebuds to be satisfied.

Now, I am all about enjoying those truly fall extras we all know and love. Cider mills, cozy clothes, and changing leaves, but can we just finish summer first? According to Starbucks...no.

Last week a Starbucks employee let it slip to Instagram foodie account Markie_devo that a swap to the fall menu will happen on August 29, 2023. Just as the shock, and cheers, set in, it was revealed the date has now been moved up to August 24th in anticipation of Dunkin' Donuts' plan to push the pumpkin starting August 16th.

What's On the Fall Menu at Starbucks?

Fall 2023 will see not only the return of the favorite PSL but also the seasonal favorites Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato. Foodies will also welcome back the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and the Owl Cake Pop.

New this year will allegedly be a cooler side with the introduction of the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte and the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. There will also be a new Baked Apple Croissant that is set to be only available at warming stores.

Keep in mind that Starbucks has not officially confirmed the new menu or release date, but amid the flurry of social media attention, they haven't denied it yet either.

Can We Wait?

Now here's the deal, I am all about fall. I LOVE fall. It's my kinda season with the perfect temps and cute clothes and football games. My issue is this, can Starbucks maybe just wait a little longer to jump into pumpkin mania? Maybe just until after Labor Day or even mid-September?  Let's just enjoy every last bit of summer that remains, and tackle the next season in good time.
