Tour This Frank Lloyd Wright-Inspired Michigan Mansion For Sale in Birmingham
A stunning home in beautiful Birmingham, Michigan has gone on the market for the first time, with an asking price of nearly $13 million.
The late Frank Lloyd Wright did not design the home, however, it's quite obvious in the pictures below that the architect took a lot of inspiration from the famous designer and paid homage to him in nearly every inch of its 13,408 square feet.
Michigan Mansion Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright Has a Rich History
This Michigan Masterpiece was designed by its owners interior designer Eric Jirgens and his husband, former Wayne State University president and Ford executive Allan Gilmour. According to Mansion Global, the couple has lived in the mansion since it was built about 25 years ago.
Numerous built-in cabinets (be sure to check out the shoe storage in the walk-in closets) are a hat tip to Wright, but other design touches give it an upscale feel that's still welcoming and casual.
