Michigan Coffee Drinkers: This New Recall Impacts Your Mornings
Another day, another recall!
There is yet another major recall that was announced that may impact your daily coffee intake.
Your hot cup of coffee may not be the pick-me-up that you wanted or needed.
New Recall Impacts Michigan Coffee Drinkers
While it may not be your coffee that is recalled, your sweet creamer has been affected.
Do you happen to use The International Delight Zero Sugar creamer?
According to multiple reports, there is a nationwide recall of 10,000 bottles of a specific International Delight coffee creamer.
The Food and Drug Administration announced that "The International Delight Zero Sugar Peppermint Mocha is recalled because it was mis-labeled as zero sugar but it contains sugar."
GASP!
As of the publication date, Danone U.S. has not released the specific lot number for the recalled coffee creamer.
However, it did call out that the recall impacts all of the International Delight Zero Sugar Peppermint Mocha coffee creamers that have the best-by-date of February 25th, 2025.
Thankfully, the International Delight Zero Sugar Peppermint Mocha is the only one being recalled at this time. The other "Home Alone" creamers, such as the regular Peppermint Mocha, Hot Chocolate Marshmallow, and Frosted Sugar Cookie, are not recalled.
Your morning coffee is not completely ruined!
All Recipes is urging any customers who have purchased the Zero Sugar version within the past three months to check the best-by-date.
After checking the best-by-date, if you have the recalled coffee creamer, you should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund!
