Kat Graham — Crush of the Day

We gave you one reason to check out ‘The Vampire Diaries’ a few weeks ago, and now here’s another: actress-singer-model Kat Graham, who plays super hot teen witch Bonnie Bennett on the CW drama.

Graham picked up a Teen Choice Award nomination for “Choice TV Actress” (An award title we can get behind) last week for her role as Bonnie. Her co-star Nina Dobrev was also nominated in the same category. ‘Vampire Diaries’ earned a total of six Teen Choice nominations, confirming what we already knew  — kids really dig movies and TV shows about brooding, dry-humping vampires!

Graham has appeared in a number of commercials, TV shows and films over the past few years, including ’17 Again,’ ‘The Roomate,’ ‘CSI,’ and the direct-to-video classic ‘Honey 2′ (in which her abs rightfully got top billing). She also made us “wanta Fanta” a few years back.

Before landing the ‘Vampire Diaries’ gig, the 22-year-old performer worked as a background dancer and hip-hop music video hottie for some of the biggest names in the business. She’s appeared in tons of music videos, including Nelly’s ‘Just A Dream’ and Akon’s ‘Lonely.’

Graham’s music career has seen a boost from some of hip-hop’s biggest acts over the past few years. She’s toured with the Black Eyed Peas, sang on will.i.am’s solo album as well as on a pair of Snoop Dogg tracks, and she released covers of Paula Abdul’s ‘Cold Hearted’ and Garbage’s ‘Only Happy When It Rains,’ which appeared on the ‘Vampire Diaries’ soundtrack.
