Lapeer DDA Selects ‘Reflections’ As March Photo Challenge Theme

A new month, brings an new photo challenge. The Lapeer DDA has selected 'Reflections' as the theme for its monthly photo contest.

Participants are encouraged to visit downtown Lapeer and take photos that incorporate 'Reflections'. This is where imagination can shine. Need a little more to get your creative juices flowing, the Lapeer DDA suggests the following,

The March theme is REFLECTIONS. Take a walk around Downtown Lapeer and check out what’s being reflected back at you from a window, a puddle, a car mirror, or wherever. Click a photo and share it here so we can all reflect upon it.

Just a friendly reminder that yes, your photos need to be taken somewhere in downtown Lapeer. Pictures inside of businesses are acceptable, just be sure to get permission first. Once you have chosen a picture to submit, post it on the Lapeer DDA Facebook  page. Your photo might be selected to be featured in the Lapeer DDA monthly newsletter.

This could be a fun thing for your whole family to do together. Make a day or night of it. Head downtown, snap some pictures, and grab dinner. According to The County Press, at the end of the year, the Lapeer DDA will host a community vote, with the photographer of the winning picture scoring a gift card to a downtown Lapeer restaurant, or business of their choice.
