Barbecue chips and milk do not sound like a good combination to me - all kidding aside, the combo is no laughing matter, especially if you are allergic to milk.

I read earlier this week that Frito Lay has issued a recall on its Barbecue Potato Chips, because the product may contain milk. Upon further investigation, Michigan is not one of the states listed on the recall. According to Frito Lay, those states include,

'Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming to retail stores and via foodservice, vending, e-commerce, mail distribution and other channels.'

Obviously if you did order your chips online, I would reconsider eating them. But really, who buys chips online, do you? I know allergic reactions are no joke. Better to be safe, than sorry.

I saw first hand what eating something you are allergic to can do. My boyfriend Nick has a severe nut allergy. He accidentally ate peanuts that were mixed in with an appetizer once, and let me tell you it was scary AF. I had to race out of the restaurant we were in, and go and get him some Benadryl fast. Now that I think of it, he still owes me $30 for the Benadryl. I had to buy it a gas station, so you know how high those prices can be. The moral of this story is quite simple - I am the only nut he can handle.
