An 89 year-old holocaust survivor fulfilled a lifelong dream over the weekend. Watch Hermina Hirsch sing the national anthem at Comerica Park before her favorite team played Tampa Bay on Saturday. “If I lived through the concentration camp, it couldn’t be that bad” she reportedly told herself before her performance. The Czechoslovakian native has been a Tigers fan since she moved to the Detroit area more than 60 years ago. She lost her parents and three brothers to the Nazis.
