The 5-9 Detroit Lions will be without interim head coach Darrell Bevell (pictured) and four assistant coaches when they play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday afternoon at Ford Field.

Bevell, defensive coordinator Cory Undlin, and three other defensive assistants have been deemed in close contact with another staff member who has tested positive for COVID-19.  Offensive assistant Robert Prince will be the head coach on Saturday.

The Lions had asked the NFL to move the game to Sunday, that way Bevell and the other assistants would have been eligible to coach.  But the league said no to the Lions.

You can hear the Lions-Bucs game on The Game 730 AM WVFN on Saturday beginning with the pregame show at 11 pm.  Kickoff is at 1 pm.

The Lions were eliminated from playoff contention when they lost to the Tennessee Titans last Sunday in Nashville.
