Local Sheriff’s Department Shares Video of Crash Caused by Icy Roads

A Tuscola County Sheriff's deputy captured video of a car crashing into an SUV on M-25 Monday. The dashcam video illustrates how quickly accidents can happen when roads are icy.

Deputy Brad Spangler had just pulled over the SUV and instructed the driver to get back into his vehicle just moments before a car traveling in the opposite direction lost control and crashed into the SUV. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to slide into Spangler's patrol car.

No one was injured, according to Mid Michigan Now, but the video serves as a not-so-subtle reminder of how important it is to slow down when weather conditions are not favorable.
