Los Angeles County doesn't want to see any footballs, Frisbees or most anything else thrown on a beach this summer. CBS Los Angeles reports county supervisors have approved an ordinance that will fine people up to a thousand dollars if they, to quote the ordinance, "cast, toss, throw, kick or roll" any object other than a beach ball or volleyball "upon or over any beach" between Memorial Day and Labor Day.  Visitors should also be aware digging any hole deeper than 18 inches into the sand on a Los Angeles beach is also subject to a big fine.
