Michigan Rapist Granted Parole Hearing

I do not know how John S. Bergevin could even be considered for parole - but he is.

According to reports, Bergevin has a long criminal history and is currently incarcerated for abducting an 11-year-old girl and sexually assaulting her in 1974. This creep returned the child to the area in which he took her - but threatened her life. Luckily the girl did tell and Bergevin was arrested the next day. However, he did attempt to follow through with the threat by actually hiring a cell mate to kill her. Jesus Christ this guy is a mad man.

On December 6th of this year, Bergevin has a scheduled parole hearing in Jackson. Cindy A. Howell is a Victims Right Coordinator for the Bay County Prosecutors Office and is planning on attending to speak out against his parole.
