Michigan’s Minimum Wage Rate Rises January 1st

Minimum wage is about to go up across many states in the U.S. in the beginning of 2020.

24 states and 48 cities and counties are raising their minimum wages, according to WILX.

Michigan's minimum wage rate will take a jump to $9.65 on January 1st. Michigan's minimum wage rate in 2019 was $9.45.

A lot of states are set to have the increase take place on New Year's Day. Others will take their increase later on this year.
