I love space stuff!  If you do too, check out the Longway Planetarium this weekend.  It's dome will host a free star show this Saturday with a display for the whole family.

Beginning at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, guests ages 4 years and older can visit the dome to watch the star show, "Solar System Safari," to check out the planets, moon and star clusters.

After the show, if it isn't all cloudy, you can check out the museum's telescopes outside the planetarium to look at far out objects.  It'll be celestial man!  Employees will be on hand to show and guide.

Longway Planetarium is at 1310 E. Kearsley St., Flint. Check out their website for additional info.  Here is the Google map.

Related, here is a time exposure I took this past Saturday night up in Tawas on a very clear night.  I pointed my camera at the star Polaris, and kept the shutter open for 45 minutes.  The results are circular star trails that show Earths movement during that time in our vast Universe.  FAR OUT!
