Northern Michigan Town Tradition Featured on Weather Channel Facebook and the Nation Loses It [VIDEO]
Who knew a small Northern Michigan town would be the target of some cyber bullying over a fun tradition? Freakin' Internet.
A little town called Leland felt the brunt of Internet tough guys when the Weather Channel featured their winter tradition of 'berging'. I had not idea what it was, but basically town's people cut huge chunks of thick ice and float down a little river. It looks like a fun time, but some people on the Internet had other opinions:
Of course most of the people who actively have berged before took the time to educate the masses:
