It was heartbreaking to see all of the damage throughout Michigan after Monday's vicious double-punch from Mother Nature. The National Weather Service has conducted a survey of the storm damage, and concluded that the storm that went through Birch Run was an EF-2 tornado.

The storm touched down close to a campground near Birch Run. After leaving a path of destruction more than 11 miles long and two-and-a-half football fields wide, it finally dissipated south of Millington.
