Office Depot Is Closing 50 Stores In May

You can now add Office Depot and OfficeMax to the list of companies that are closing some of their stores in 2019. According to a report from Business Insider, the office supplies company is closing 50 Office Depot stores and/or OfficeMax stores throughout the United States. Some of the stores are set to close permanently on May 18th and may stores have already started to hold liquidation sales.

There are two Michigan locations on the list of stores that will be closing. Thankfully, the Office Depot location in Okemos and the OfficeMax location on East Edgewood Boulevard in Lansing are NOT on the list of closings that was released earlier this week. The two locations that are closing in Michigan include the Office Depot in Southfield and the OfficeMax location in Dearborn. Click here to see the complete list of stores that will be closing.
