Owosso Speedway Employee Killed On Track

Michael Niebrzydowski, 49, an employee at Owosso Speedway was struck and killed by a race car this past Sunday. Police say Niebrzydowski was attempting to slow down oncoming cars for an unrelated crash.

Owosso Speedway issued the following statement:

'Owosso speedway is deeply saddened by the loss of Mike Niebrzydowski. Mike has been a prominent member of the racing community for years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all friends and family members. May he rest in peace with our Lord and Savior.'
