Keith Richards says playing "Jack Sparrow's Dad" on the big screen has earned him some pint-sized fans.  Keith tells "The Los Angeles Times" that younger people now recognize him -- not as the guitarist for The Rolling Stones, but as Captain William Teague from the "Pirates of the Caribbean"franchise.  Richards has a cameo in this weekend's new release "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."  He originated his role as Teague, the father to Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow in 2007's "Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End."  Depp has said that he based his swashbuckling pirate on Richards.

In the years since they first worked together, Keith and Johnny have become close.  Depp is directing a documentary about Richards' storied life and career.  Meanwhile, look for "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" in theaters nationwide this weekend.
