Remember when the Post Office was going to close on Saturdays to save money? Well a recent deal with Amazon.com is taking the USPS in the opposite direction. The L.A. Times reports that the Post Office will begin seven day service but only for Amazon.

The daily delivery begins this weekend in New York and Los Angeles.  They plan to expand to more metropolitan areas next year.  This means more hours for current postal workers and will hopefully prevent layoffs.
