Regardless where you live in Michigan, it's always worth it drive to Grand Rapids to see a killer rock show.

Between now and the end of the year, there are some great rock concerts taking place at The Intersection, DeVos Performance Hall, GLC Live at 20 Monroe, and Belknap Park in Grand Rapids.

The biggest show everyone is talking about is this year's Upheaval Festival that is set to take place at Belknap Park on July 15 and 16th.

These are the bands that are set to take the stage on July 15: Breaking Benjamin, Mudvayne, Theory, Avatar, Starset, Ayron Jones, All Good Things, Fire From The Gods, The Warning, Dark Heavens, and Black Heart Saints.

These are the bands that are set to take the stage on July 16: Disturbed, Three Days Grace, Nothing More, Hatebreed, Escape The Fate, Butcher Babies, Nita Strauss, Ded, Oxymorrons, Heartsick, City Awake, and Katharsys Theory.

I don't think we'll have any new music from Breaking Benjamin prior to the two-day festival but it's possible we could have something new from Disturbed as singer David Draiman recently stated that the band's new album was almost finished.

The Upheaval Festival will be here before you know it, be sure to get your tickets in advance. You can purchase tickets for just one day or you can go all out and get tickets for both days.

This isn't every concert coming to Grand Rapids this year but these are the ones we think you need to be aware of. Let's have a look.
