Ruck For The Fallen

Ruck For The Fallen is a 23 mile veteran suicide awareness walk from 6 AM to 9 PM on Saturday, September 8, hosted by Project Brotherhood Resolve and Mission 22 to raise awareness of the rising pandemic of veteran suicide and veteran suicide within our communities and to bring together veterans and families. According to Project Brotherhood Resolve, 22 veterans commit suicide every day.

The event starts at Orion War Memorial in Lake Orion and ends at VFW Post 4139 in Lapeer where local veteran organizations will be available for networking and assistance. Entertainment will be provided by Rock Candy.

On site registration and sign-in begins at 6 AM at Orion War Memorial. The event starts at 8 AM. Click here to pre-register online. Participants who register before August 24 will be guaranteed an event T-shirt.

Orion War Memorial is located on M-24 at 590 South Lapeer Road in Lake Orion. VFW Post 4139 is located at 128 Daley Road in Lapeer.
