Sixth Annual Lions Bear Lake Camp Golf Classic.

Lions Bear Lake Golf Classic will take place at the Metamora Golf & Country Club this  Saturday, May 14. The Lapeer Lions Club provides eye glasses and other eye care for local blind and visually impaired children and residents through a number of projects. The Bear Lake Camp is designed to help visually impaired children with a safe, fun camping environment.

Registration for the golf outing starts at 11:30 a.m., with shotgun start at 1 p.m. and an awards dinner following at 6 p.m. Proceeds from the Lions Bear Lake Golf Classic will be used to help blind and visually impaired children at Bear Lake Camp.

Cost for the Lions golf outing is $100 per person or $400 per foursome to golf. Guests who wish to attend dinner only will be charged $30. The activities will also include use of the driving range, 18 holes of golf with a cart, course contests, the awards dinner, raffles and door prizes.
