The New GB’s Pub & Grub Is Now Open

Update 8/8/22: Today is the day, the new GB's Pub & Grub opens today at 5:00 PM.

It's great to see new local businesses opening up, I especially love it when that business is a bar and grill. Your soon-to-be favorite spot, GB's Pub & Grub will be opening soon.

Owners Michael Carl Beagle and his business partner Brian Thayer posted the news on Facebook this past May that they had purchased the former Daisy Dukes Bar & Grill. After months of renovations, the target date for the grand opening of GB's Pub & Grub is August 8th. There is significance to that date, it is also Michael's birthday.

GB's Pub & Grub will be serving craft sandwiches, salads, soups, and amazing appetizers. Guests will enjoy indoor and outdoor bar service with plenty of screens for all the games and sporting events with 10 rotating beer taps.

As you will see in the photos below, the place looks awesome. I cannot wait to sit outside and enjoy GB's Pub & Grub signature drink - a Screwball Frosty. The whiskey shots come out of a soft-serve ice cream machine. I can tell you from experience, that this is a damn good drink.

GB's Pub & Grub also features a huge sand volleyball court. If you are interested in playing, leagues will be forming in late summer/early fall.

Michael Carl Beagle and his awesome team were kind enough to let me get a sneak peek of the place, and I am super excited for opening day. Chances are real good that I will be outside on the patio with a Screwball Whiskey in hand.
