Soup And Song Benefits Toys For Tots [Update]

The Lapeer County Veterans Affairs Department will host its first Soup and Song event at the historic courthouse on Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Due to technical difficulties, Friday’s Soup and Song event to benefit Toys for Tots has made a “slight” change to the menu. Delicious sandwiches have been substituted for homemade soup for the lunch time event. Christmas songs, however, are still on the menu. The highlight of the lunch will be Christmas song performed by regular everyday folks.
Admission, which includes the delicious lunch, is either a toy for a youngster at Christmas or a donation to Toys for Tots.

All donations will be forwarded to the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program.
