The NFL season is finally over, and the Los Angeles Rams won it all. They defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 yesterday in LA.

Former Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford cut the cake and won his first Super Bowl. This should solidify his place in Canton in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Stafford was 26/40 and threw 3 touchdowns and 2 picks. It was a really good game, and I couldn’t be happier for Stafford. Yeah, it’s sports and there will always be haters. But that’s life.

Stafford was with the awful Lions since he was drafted by them first in the first round. How could the Rams get him and win the Super Bowl the next year? It’s because they're the Detroit Lions. This is a snake bit franchise that probably will never get to the Super Bowl.

People blamed Stafford for this franchise not going anywhere. Obviously that wasn't the case. It’s the Ford family that has to be blamed. They made all these lousy hires and chose bad players year in and year out.

I am very happy that Matt Stafford won because it really exposes the incompetence of the Lions organization and the Ford family.

Cincinnati was awful just two years ago until they drafted Joe Burrow. There is hope for the Detroit Lions, but I doubt it.
