I'm one of those guys that puts hot sauce on pretty much everything and yes I do it before I even taste my food. For some reason that really drives some people crazy especially my mother.

I was pretty excited today when I saw that TABASCO released a new hot sauce called Rocoto Pepper Sauce. According to their website, the limited-edition sauce is made with fresh Peruvian rocoto peppers, maple syrup, a Middle Eastern spice blend and a dash of original TABASCO red sauce.

When you combine all those delicious ingredients, they say you end up with a sauce that is zesty and aromatic with a hint of sweetness. I wouldn't know what it tastes likes because I have yet to try it but that's about to change because I just ordered a couple of bottles. I figured since it's a limited edition, I better get two.

My favorite thing to put TABASCO on is oysters so I can only imagine what this new flavor will bring to the table. However, if the new flavor doesn't sound spicy enough for you, check out their Scorpion sauce, which is the brand's hottest sauce at around 50k on the Scoville scale.
